A little bit of our history

Traveling to San Miguel de Allende, México with my mom to have a facelift, evolved into her becoming the U.S. Agent for a famous surgeon and now, my following in her footsteps.
It all began ten years ago, when my mother went to Mexico to visit some friends for a month. She found that many Americans retired here, living in beautiful homes and enjoying their lives. She also noticed everyone looked as though they had found the legendary “fountain of youth”. After a few dinner parties and games of bridge, my mom met women who quite openly talked about just having a facelift. She now understood why so many men and women, known to be fifty and sixty-something, had such smooth and youthful faces, looked natural, none with a pulled, taut look. She also learned the fee was only $5,000 U.S. for a complete facelift.
Mom immediately made an appointment and found the doctor to be as gentle and conscientious as everyone had described. She decided she wanted to know more first hand, so she checked herself into the hospital to see the private hospital suite used for all his patients. She also had all the pre-op testing necessary before surgery. The following day, satisfied with the hospital, the nursing staff, the doctor’s team, including an M.D. anesthesiologist, but especially with this well credentialed and respected surgeon, she decided to have her facelift. She scheduled the surgery for a date when I could go to Mexico with her.
